The goal for Columbia University's new fertility clinic, located in busy Midtown Manhattan, was to create a calm oasis for the patient and to provide for her comfort while accommodating the extreme logistical and privacy considerations necessary for a such a facility.
We designed this 20,000 SF state-of-the-art facility, in three phases. Every detail of the space serves the greater intentions -- from the lab, procedure rooms and recovery areas to the storage of medical records. The result is a comfortable environment for patients and an efficient workplace for the medical staff that has resulted in rising pregnancy rates from their previous facility.
