Downtown Apartment East Village, NYC The design of this 2-bedroom apartment was inspired by a favorite photo our Clients took while fly fishing. The surface of the water appears smooth and simultaneously rich and deep with color and light. We developed a series of conceptual photographic collages to illustrate the idea that the experience of a single surface could be created from a multiplicity of colors, textures and planes. This variety in the surfaces of the walls and ceilings creates a subtle pristine richness in the space.
